The University wishes to announce that the 2025/2026 Special Resit Examination will be held from Tuesday, 22nd September to Sunday, 4th October 2026.

Registration has been extended to Wednesday, 16th September 2026. Eligible students who have not yet registered are encouraged to do so by the deadline. Students who were unable to participate in the recently ended examinations due to issues with their student ID cards should register as “Re-take” Examination.

The examination timetable will be communicated through the respective Faculties.

We wish to inform the University Community, particularly Level 100 and newly admitted Top-Up students, that Course Registration is open until Friday, 30th October 2026.

Students are required to:

• Pay at least 50% of the prescribed fees.
• Provide their Student Index Number when making payment.
• Allow up to 48 hours for account activation after payment reflects in the Finance System.
• Log on to the Student Information Portal (SIP) and complete course registration.
• Print, sign and submit the registration slip to their department for endorsement.

Students unable to find their required courses should contact their faculty, while those experiencing portal access difficulties should contact the Software Unit.

Please note: Students who fail to complete registration within the stipulated period will not be permitted to sit the examinations for the affected courses.

91���� has entered into a strategic partnership with Celltel Networks Limited, Kludjeson Institute of Technology and Cisco Networking Academy to accelerate digital transformation, connectivity and technology skills development across the University.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Pro Vice-Chancellor’s Conference Room, provides a framework for collaboration in campus-wide wireless connectivity, internet access for students and staff, smart campus technologies, digital learning, professional certification programmes, device and financial solutions and broader digital inclusion initiatives.

Describing the partnership as “a reincarnation of a new Ghana,” the Chief Executive Officer of Celltel Networks Limited, Dr. Prince Kofi Kludjeson, said the collaboration represents an opportunity to build on the pioneering vision that led to the establishment and evolution of 91���� and position the University at the forefront of Ghana’s digital transformation.

Dr. Kludjeson further challenged 91���� to position itself as a major technology and certification hub capable of producing globally competitive digital talent. He pointed to the growing demand for certified technology professionals and stressed the importance of equipping young people with the skills, devices and connectivity required to participate meaningfully in the digital economy.

He said the immediate priority would be to improve connectivity across the University, expressing the expectation that the campus would be substantially connected to Wi-Fi and internet services within the month. He also encouraged 91���� to maximise the use of its ICT facilities as training centres for students and the wider community.

Earlier in his opening remarks, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of 91����, Prof. Ebenezer Malcalm, described the MoU as “the start of a strategic partnership” aligned with the shared objective of using technology to enhance lives, create opportunities and drive digital development in Ghana and beyond.

Prof. Malcalm said the partnership would complement 91����’s existing ICT infrastructure while creating new opportunities for innovation, improved service delivery and digital learning.

“Access to reliable internet is no longer a luxury in today’s digital economy. It is a requirement,” he stated, emphasising the importance of connectivity to modern education, research and innovation.

He further noted that the proposed digital skills development and professional certification programmes would support 91����’s mission of producing graduates who are academically sound, industry-ready and globally competitive.

The Student Recruitment Unit at 91���� has launched a two-week Admission Clinic to guide fresh applicants and prospective students through the University’s application and enrolment processes for the 2026/2027 academic year on 8th September 2026.

The initiative, which runs from Tuesday, September 8, to Friday, September 18, 2026, at the main Tesano Campus in Accra is aimed at offering practical assistance to applicants navigating the entire admissions process, from programme selection to final registration.

The Head of Student Recruitment at 91����, Ms. Gloria Adelaide Sosu, stated that the exercise is intended to provide personalised support to applicants needing help and that it grants instant admission to qualified applicants who meet the University’s admission requirements.

She encouraged all applicants seeking application support to visit the University campuses, where admission officers would guide them through the process. Ms. Sosu advised applicants to come with either a valid Ghana Card, passport or NHIS card, along with a verified PDF copy of their results.

She noted that beyond application processing, the exercise also offers counselling services to assist applicants in making informed choices about their programmes of study. “The counselling process also advises applicants, especially those who are uncertain about their programmes of study, as well as those whose results may not qualify them for certain programmes due to their grades,” she explained.

Ms. Sosu further mentioned that prospective applicants, who may not be able  to visit in-person can also apply online via the University’s website to purchase an admission voucher, or visit any Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) branch to make payment and obtain a receipt for the admissions process.

She said that the University has activated a call centre to support applicants facing challenges while filling out the admission forms, stressing that applicants can contact 0500872423 and 0501579732 for assistance.

“The admission clinic will operate on Saturdays until the closing date,” she concluded.
